[log in to unmask], 2 Jul 2010 18:13:35 +0300340_- I'm taking my ferrets off of the supplemental cat kibble, now that I
have plenty of Kimberley's PINGFORD'S PORRDGE, which they love.
But they are not happy about being denied the kibble, and they wrestle
into the bag when they can get at it.
Maybe they are addicted to it. Should I take them ff of it slowly????? [...]45_2Jul201018:13:

[log in to unmask], 2 Jul 2010 14:09:17 -0400599_- Has the vet determined the TYPE of anemia present? That is IMPORTANT.
(Also, how is his blood glucose?)
Given his adrenal disease, marrow suppression has to be considered
and what he might need is surgery with a big male blood donor handy.
Ferrets don't have blood types, BTW. Epogen or Procrit can be used for
some types of anemia if they are bad but not horrid and Arimidex may be
used with at least one of those. That happens more often with female
ferrets but both females and males have both the estrogens (so called
"female" hormones), and the androgens [...]41_2Jul201014:09:

[log in to unmask], 2 Jul 2010 02:03:37 -0700596_- There is something called tinea versicolor, which is not a true
"ringworm", but I contracted it (as did every other member of the
household I worked at, and the housecats) either from the horses or
bales of hay.
Doctors will say that it is not something that is "spread", and yet
everyone came down with it over the course of a week and we had it for
at least six months. I had ring shaped patches that eventually filled
in with red, was not raised, but eventually flaked (like dandruff only
very light). On the head, it caused dandruff; on [...]37_2Jul201002:03:

From my sig lines open the FHL archives, and put ringworm in the search
box which is for words that are in the body of the message
then just leave the other two boxes empty and click the search button.
Skim the lines of who the message is from and what the subject is to
get an idea which ones may be of help to you. [...]41_2Jul201014:19:

Ozzie takes the Rainbow bridge
I have been far to lazy about posting here, things have been way too
busy. The first bit of news I will write about is sad. Ozzie, the dark
eyed white boy who lived with Sasha and Darkstar has passed on May,
11th 2010 at the ripe old age of 8 and is playing with Lil and his
friends from Ferretwise. He came to the funhouse about 4 years ago
from the Ferretwise shelter, back in the days when the shelter room
was still there! Seems like a long time. [...]46_2Jul201016:48:
