Resist the urge to bathe ferrets too much. Once a year, perhaps twice
is plenty. If they get washed too often their body works harder to
replace the oils they lost and will smell more.

Best scent helpers in my opinion, change bedding weekly, keep their
ears clean, and scoop or clean litter areas twice a day at least.
