If you have a little time, you should be able to make chix soup for
your guy. You can always add ferretvite, meds, whatever as needed. We
make soup by crocking a whole chicken for 24-32 hrs, squishing the
bones with our fingers to make sure they are soft (throw away hard
pieces) & to get all the marrow. We then blend chix, bones, broth &
some pumpkin and freeze it in little containers or ice cube trays.
One chix makes a weeks worth of soup for our 30 shelter ferrets to
have twice a day so it should last you a LONG time.
