I received LOTS of responses via email regarding the Kong toy and
it's use for ferrets, many favorable and many not so favorable.
Interestingly enough I know they make the Kong toy out of different
hardnesses of rubber (durometer). The black one seemed to hold up
better than the red one against the sharp ferret teeth. Needless to say
I want to thank everyone for their input. At this time I think I will
hold off on getting Kong toys... but it is nice to see something like
that still made in USA.
