Its was Christmas eve day that i get a call from a dad of a boy wanting
to get rid of a couple ferrets, reasons were trying to pack up and
leave to go to Okla City to see family for christmas the boy goes to
collage and they are not allowed in a dorm room so they been stuck
liveing with the ferrets the past couple months in their nice brand new
home thay had just bought cause they stink up the place and they are to
busy and cant be tied down with animals right now so im sorry can you
take them the huge cage come with them and all their stuff.. that was
the words of the stupit ass father of the boys ferrets ..

I say, ok how old are the ferrets he says i dont no but the birth
records says Sept of 0 9 but we cant find the other one but my son got
ferret in aug at a petstore when we lived in alabama, ohhh ok then what
are the ferrets names i dont know he says we just call them ferrets but
they will come with a nice huge cage well ok but i need to ask have the
ferrets had their shots or ever been to a vet oh well no we didnt no
thay had to have shot or go to a vet.. duaaaa yes just like you would
a dog or cat to make sure they are healthy and had their 3 rounds of
shots well no we never took them but thay come with a nice big cage and
my son paid 250 for it oh wow im thinking a f n cage or something when
he said that so i asked what color is the bottem of the cage oh well
its purple oh ok . while i fuming in my head the next quatation i said
well i charge a surrender fee of 50 dollors pure ferret WHY he says
thay come with a brand new huge cage ok ok just bring me the ferrets
and i will takje them cage and all their food and toys and stuff, i
gave him my address and they were here within the hour, Where the toys
bedding and foods the boy comes with the dad and he said i didnt no
they had to have toys, but heres the food bag they ran out yesterday so
their are probly hungry now cause we fed them once a day i forgot their
water bottle ok beeding was ceder chips litter was sand from a
constrection site his dad works at and the toys was a hanging bird toy
thats it, so i asked did the ferrets ever get out for play time, what
do you mean play time i mean did you even let them out of their cage to
play welllll no BUT I did alot of reserch on ferrets befor i got them
he happly said and GUYS it was all i could do is just kick their dam
A**&^$#@%^ out the door, theyr gone and i sit and looked at these to
little ferrets no names, no toys, no soft blankies or hammy or anything
except an empty food bowl, I went into my personal bathroom and fixed
it up with toys, soft bedding and food and a bowl of water.

its raining snowing and the wind is blowing real hard in the 20s so i
put the ferrets in my bathroom to play and get to know what life was
like outside the cage and i drove to walmarts and bought some more
new toys and then went to petco alrady closed at 5 p m and called the
manager im good friends with and he was still there and so i went over
to petco and bought some of the marshell farms food so i can get these
kids transfered over to my mix gradualy so there wouldnt be any food
problems came home and found one of the ferrets just laying in the same
spot i put him in the bathroom the other one was dooking and playing i
went to put food in the bowl with the mix i had and the bowl was empty
i thought did i even put food in there so i went and fixed up a nice
clean cage with new toys fresh new hammy and soft blankies in there for
them and then food and water and sleep sacks ferret the one that just
stayed in the same spot still hadnt moved and i thought maybe he was
hurt or somthing and he couldnt walk, but when i put them in the cage
the little one started walking around and went stright to the food bowl
and started eating the mix i made for them so i guess he is just one
scared little boy is all.

Merry Christmas Everybody from the Arkansas Ferret Rescue Shelter and
the Ferrets and from me and a Happy New Year comming in the next few
days, and the 2 boys that came in last night are happy, dooking and
haveing a blast now even though they have to be qurateen for the next
10 days and get checked in with our vets, ALSO the boys have names now
and the names are Morris and Sabastain,,
