For those who would like to donate to the IFC Medical Research Fund,
funds are being collected for Dr. Matti Kiupel and Dr. Robert Wagner.
Checks will be presented to them at the June 3 - 5, 2011 Ferret
Symposium in Phoenix where they will be presenting new ferret health
findings and information about their research.

Dr. Kiupel is a board certified veterinary pathologist with a special
interest in ferret health. Your donation will help to support important
ferret health advancements taking place at Michigan State University.
Diseases currently being studied by Dr. Kiupel and the MSU group
include ferret coronaviruses (ECE and FIP like disease), intestinal
diseases (rotavirus, coccidiosis, staphylococcosis), neoplastic
diseases (adrenal cortical neoplasms) and inflammatory conditions
(disseminated idiopathic myofascitis).

Dr. Wagner holds joint positions at the University of Pittsburgh as a
Clinical Assistant Professor of Veterinary Medicine in the Division of
Laboratory Animal Resources and as a Research Assistant Professor of
Medicine in the School of Medicine's Department of Medicine. He is
currently doing exciting research on ferret adrenal disease treatment
and prevention.

or split the amount between the two. The IFC will match donations
collected up to a total of $1500!

Please note how you would like your donation to be applied. Also,
please include how you would like your listing on the donors' page

Although donations will be accepted until May 30, the deadline to
receive a listing in the program is April 30.
