[log in to unmask], 14 Aug 2011 09:54:10 -0400545_- I am shocked and dismayed to read the posts regarding Sandi's loss
of Foxy. I would have thought the ferret community would be more
supportive of one of their own; and by one of their own, I am referring
to a ferret owner, not a vet. How would any of you feel if a vet
simply put down your own ferret? To say that Sandi's reporting the
disciplining measures taken Mike Vick and How To Train Your Pitbull or better yet put
both Mikes on the same show! You could call it....How To Abuse Animals
and Get Your Own TV Show! [...]36_17Feb201120:59:

it has just happened then probably a renewal fee of $25-35 I would
guess. If it has been some time it could be costly. Also, along with
the domain if the website hosting was cancelled that is another
problem. Get with the past owner of the site and find out what type of
email she had as some can be resurrected in other ways ie: setting up a
new web site with the same email settings and name. Whoever did her web
hosting would be able to [...]43_17Feb201110:50:

So many people here are so sweet! Many good mails arrived today.

[log in to unmask], 18 Feb 2011 22:13:47 -0800493_- Hi Everyone:
One of the young ferrets I recently fostered for Lollypop Farm, our
Humane Society in Rochester, NY is back at Lollypop looking for a
forever family. She is a lovely young, light sable, MF lady and
deserves a family who knows and loves ferrets. On her surrender form,
her first family stated they let her out weekly. She lived with eight
cats. Watching her behavior with our cat I am suspicious of her having
been entertainment for the eight cats. [...]45_18Feb201122:13:

[log in to unmask], 18 Feb 2011 17:23:26 +0000605_- Hopefully I can help to clear up some confusion. My name is Susan
Holland, treasurer for Michigan Ferret Rescue and Adoption Network
(MFRAN). We have been around on the east side of Michigan for over 10
years. James Fishback (Tigger) is our group's Shelter Coordinator. We
are a group that usually has 1 or more shelters within our group. With
the poor economy and stressful "life" situations for many people the
shelters that we worked with in the past have now closed thier door for
taking in new ferrets. We are trying to foster within our group, but
our homes [...]39_18Feb201117:23:

like to see both these amazing vets, (Matti Kiupel, Ph.D, and Robert
Wagner, VMD) in person and see the checks being presented to them?
