If you happened to check the Smithsonian's black-footed ferret cam
today (Monday), you'll have seen that Thalia had a visitor! In fact,
he may still be there in the morning!

If the breeding is successful, Thalia would be due around June 21,
my birthday! :-)

Two other natural pairings were scheduled for today, and 3 artificial
inseminations. Another AI was done last week and the first litter of
the year at the facility was born May 7.
