Dear Friends,

Marilyn here, and I have been watching the rabies reactions posts. As
most of you know, I lost my German Shepherd guard dog to a rabies shot.

Since than, I have been on a mission and have found at least 8 dogs
that passed from problems that developed after the shots.

I realize this Digest is only about ferrets, of which I have 4 in
Hospice Care, but I thought I would bring to your attention that this
seems to be a wide spread problem. I also met one lady who lost her
cat.

Just be aware, that we ferret owners are not alone in this problem. It
seems Cat and Dog owners are also baffled by the death of their pets.

Hailey was not "just a dog" as people say, I still cry when I pass her
grave, and there are tears in my eyes as I type this to you.

Something is amiss in the rabies vac.
