I agree with the fact that the baby should have been bought, but I am
not sure if she had enough money to buy the ferret in the first place.

AFAIK she is at the vet, got a hormone shot, and they are watching her
at the vet to see if she needs antibiotics. The pet shop has been
contacted and told that if the medical costs are too high, we can get
the ferret to a ferret shelter if need be. Whether that would involve
money or not is up to the pet shop.

Also it was not Petco, it was Petland (just for clarification, not to
be mean).
