Hi Ulrike,

It seems I've been lucky that all of my guys being put to sleep seem
to be okay with being masked. Each situation is different. Maybe it's
my vets technique with the IP that caused the pain, but I will never
forgive myself for having her go through that. It was very distressing
to me, probably as much as you seeing your fuzzy in the tank was...

As for the tank - I only meant ones that are so far gone already. We
have had some that just don't even know what's up from down, and it's
easiest to just put them in there as they sleep...but yes the masks for
us work...dunno if it's because they experience it beforehand during
adrenal or other surgeries and remember the experience. I wouldn't put
a fuzzy in who knew what was going on, I've seen that before as well
for a surgery, and I didn't like it one bit. She ended up not surviving
the surgery as well.
