This morning I am busy at trying to start a new business. Animal Lover
4 Hire, ( name is in the works ) which basically is just me doing baby
sitting, dog walking, and pooper scooper. But I came upon the thought
that kind of makes me wonder. What do I REALLY want to do with my life? [...]42_22Jan201110:48:[log in to unmask] 1101 8835 63 67_Information gathered thus far about ferrets ingesting human [log in to unmask], 22 Jan 2011 12:24:56 -0500563_- Mike, thank you for all that you did. I think you did well. And dont
feel bad about not picking up on the word "fingers". Actually, I didn't
either. I think it's because we are so mad about the snarky tones we
are receiving. This guy really buried himself and the paper though with
his ridiculous and emotional words. We all know it's impossible for a
ferret to A) eat whole, let alone large chunks of "fingers" and B) that
a ferrets stomach cannot hold 7 1/2 of them. So he lied. And buddy if
we find out from the [...]39_22Jan201112:24:[log in to unmask] 1101 8899 70 56_New story in Grain Valley newspaper about attack on baby10_Jennifer [log in to unmask], 22 Jan 2011 00:04:18 -0800704_- http://www.examiner.net/opinions/opinions_columnists/x1409894515/Riley-A-parental-mistake-a-life-of-regret

OK, this is a NEW LOW . . .

Here's an excerpt of the article at the link above that was written by
a reporter for the Grain Valley newspaper, The Examiner.

"You probably wanted to carpet bomb with expletives the Grain Valley
couple whose 4-month-old boy lost virtually all his fingers in an
attack by a ferret. There were parts of you that felt like shaking
that man and woman in a violent rage while spewing a rapid-fire series
of questions like "Why would you have a ferret around your baby," and
"Didn't you hear your baby screaming [...]44_22Jan201100:04:[log in to unmask] 1101 8970 60 18_IMHO From the Edge25_Alexandra [log in to unmask], 22 Jan 2011 17:31:42 +0000590_- Dear Ferret Folks-

We've had a lot of IMHO's recently about the ferret that apparently
ate the fingers off of the infant. I guess it's my turn to add my...
expertise? It does come from a peculiar direction.

As some of you may know I am an addict and alcoholic in recovery.
I've been at it in AA for 19 years. I know a lot about being totally,
absolutely wrecked. And you'd have to be *unconscious* to "sleep"
through a baby being devoured piecemeal in your home. The shrieking
would be really, really, annoying. You'd crawl over to the baby [...]42_22Jan201117:31:[log in to unmask] 1101 9031 35 25_Finger eating ferret; vax15_Kimberly [log in to unmask], 22 Jan 2011 23:18:11 -0600545_- Hello to everyone I have just a few comments that I am behind on and
am also looking for info.

First comment, having lived for 10 years in MO. I have to say that
backwoods redneck pretty much describes every law enforcement person I
ever had to deal with. Most of the count

I can vouch for Dr. Starkey. He obtained his degree at Cornell and
went all out to save my Mittsie's life while in residency at the
veterinary hospital there. Mittsie's lungs were 85% blocked, most
likely from some microscopic nasty she had picked up on the streets
of New Orleans, where she was found. That was more than two years ago,
and Mittsie continues to be in excellent health, a bright and very
happy middle-aged girl who thinks she's still a kit. :)
