I have been appointed the Pet Rescue Specialist of a local online
newspaper. This online newspaper is specific to the following
geographic areas in Illinois: Ravenswood, North Center, Ravenswood
Manor, St. Bens, Ravenswood Gardens, Rockwell Crossing, and Graceland
West Communities. This presents a unique opportunity for my rescue
friends.

Please send me a weekly email of photos and descriptions of strays
that are brought in to your shelters (leaving out one or two important
details so proof of ownership can be verified) and I will post them.
Also, if you are contacted by someone looking for their pet, you may
contact me immediately and I will contact them to get their pet posted
ASAP on the site.

Additionally, I ask that you send me in a separate email the photos and
bios of some of your adoptable animals. I will update the photos on a
weekly basis. Hopefully this will not only lead to pets finding their
way home, but will also lead to new adoptions for your shelter. Please
feel free to pass this info along to all your other shelter friends. My
