I just noticed a patch of thinning hair on lil Itachi's flank. I'm
worried that she might be getting sick, but since she is my first
ferret, she will be the first special needs ferret. I can't take her
to the vet right away, simply due to financial issues (damn you broken
clutch!!), so I was wondering if anyone could help me determine if it
is safe to wait about 2 months? I may be wrong about what I am seeing -
it could just be her coat is thinning, which it does in the winter (Fla
ferret for years) or I'm just noticing a thin patch that she has always
had.. But, I worry about my lil fursnake. Itachi is almost 5.5 years
(at least according to her first owner), had poor quality cat food for
years, and refuses 'tone, 'vite, and baby food. She's eating MUCH
better quality cat food (She refuses to eat anything the cats don't
get, go figure, hence the request the other day for a few small samples
to work on her with).
BTW - April from TF contacted me and I think we have gotten the
disconnect fixed. I sholuld have some TF winging it's way to the back
of beyond soon!!
