I have just gotten word that Suffolk Animal Shelter in VA has gotten in
a Champagne ferret. This shelter does not do exotics, mostly a dog and
cat shelter. (it is also a city run Kill shelter) From the description
I got, the ferret is female, but I did get a pic and it looks like the
build of a boy. The ferret is supposed to be 5 months old. Just in time
for terrible two's and not something that a first timer wants to get
into. I do have a pic that I can e mail if anyone wants it. If I still
lived in Suffolk I would have gotten it as soon as I heard about it but
now I am in Washington State, thats kind of a far drive. If anyone is
interested just e mail me and I can find the contact info for Suffolk
Animal Shelter, or you can most likely google it.
