I'm sorry to report that Sprout crossed the bridge this evening. We had
him to our vet and he checked him over and was very concerned. He did a
needle aspiration of an abdominal lymph node but it didn't show
anything.

Sprout had very loose brown (chocolate brown) stools, a small nose
bleed, and his temp was 99.something.

Our vet told us that we could take him to a veterinary specialist in
Detroit or Chicago. We got to the vet at closing time so we planned on
returning tomorrow for blood work. He also recommend we give him hills
z/d, which is an anti allergy food. We took him home and I prepared the
z/d but when I went to get him he was very limp and cold. We took him
to the after hours clinic and helped him over the bridge.

We plan on getting a necropsy so I will update everyone with what we
find.

Thank you to everyone for the numerous suggestions and encouragement.

Mike
