On behalf of my extended family, I'd like to thank everyone that has
sent cards, notes of encouragement, packages, etc. to my brother in
law's father, Gerry Mentzter, who is suffering from esophageal cancer.
(His surgery to remove the mass went well and he is now in the
beginning stages of chemo and radiation treatments.)

Gerry & Lois are very grateful for your thoughts and prayers.

They have also been completely amazed that so many people, from so
many places (I know they've gotten stuff from as far away as the
Netherlands!)... people that they've never met (and likely never will)
would so willingly take the time & effort to send cards & such. Gerry
has enjoyed getting the mail and Lois said that all the cards & letters
included nice thoughts & prayers.
