A friend of mine has a little one that is crashing with insulinoma (as
far as she can tell). She needs to get him to a vet in CA but the vets
she has contacted are all saying he needs surgery without even looking
at him. She wants to try medications before she elects to have surgery
done on him. She is in the San Diego area and would be willing to
travel some distance if needed.

Can anyone recommend a vet in that area? I know that vets
names/addresses can't be posted here so if you could email me directly,
I will pass on the info to her. Thank you so much for any help you can
give her!
