My dear friend, please!, if you are going to give the boy a name like
Hebert, at least say it right. Down here in Louisiana, Hebert is
pronounced A-Bear, NOT Heee-bert. And, since the Cajuns made the trek
from the Canadian far east, past the coast of Massachusetts, I am quite
sure that is how it was intended to be pronounced up there.
So, please give the challenged little one a kiss on the head and tell
him you understand now why he looks at you so funny - you don't know
how to say his name!
And, if it is ANY consolation at all, Skitch was the same way. And he
was afraid to even enter the tubes - standing at the edge peering in
and pawing! Today, however, a mere one year later, the boy LOVES to go
through those tubes. So don't geve up on Hebert, he may get the hang of
weasel life yet.
