OMG! What the heck! That possum is pretty smart to let her take it in -
let alone let her take pictures. I sure hope it doesn't have rabies and
that she let it go soon. I'm sure she's been emailed a dozen times that
it's not a ferret. BTW not to start another pet debate, but opossums
make pretty cuddly pets (and are much less apt to bite than skunks) and
I know possum owners LOVE to dress them up more than we do!!! However -
and this is a huge however - they are very prone to MBD and the diet
is hard to get just right, so many owners watch their pets die painful
debilitating deaths. Anyway - if they weren't so prone to that I'd be
cuddling with one right now ;)
