Mine routinely get a "mush" in the evening to enjoy as a treat; they
eat a kibble mix.
The turkey I use comes in one pound packages from the human discount
chain Save-a-Lot,@$1.19- a good deal eh? I add a few other yummy things
like: eggs & shells, canine Nupro, green tea.

All this gets frozen in an ice cube tray. They began a few years back
having it cooked lightly, but now prefer the whole mess just thawed-
or slightly warmed in the micro.

I have never had a issue with bacteria; I mix it quickly, and it stays
frozen till consumption- never sits around. I'm currently working on
them accepting some innards in the mix.

P.S. Da Moma Loooves Chicken livers!!!
