I was wondering if anyone has any progressive shots of a ferret's
face when they get distemper. The one we suspect has been sneezing
and wheezing since yesterday, started to have discharge, and his
nose is turning brown from the top down. You can't rub it off. I
will be vaccinating everyone else here, there are rescues that are
unvaccinated. The shelter he came from did not diagnose his distemper.
He will be put down tomorrow. I already have ferrets sneezing in the
other room. I guess even with them getting vaccinated, they will STILL
die too, right? This sucks so much. I can't believe it's happening.
You do so much good, and then to have personals die from it. And
rescues. I wasn't even supposed to pick this guy up. I don't know
if I'll even be able to live after this. They're my kids. This is
just...horrible. Because it's my fault. Mine got older and I decided
to stop vaccinating. That was a mistake.
