It was a lovely day at de Bridge. SaraFerret was very busy crocheting
de last of de toys for all of de kits as well as other fuzzies who
might not have family at de bridge. The bag was so full. My goodness,
even de ones de kits had done looked very good. There, dat one was
finished, she thought to herself. Now she could get them out to
everyone. All of a sudden, she heard a light tap at her door and in
came Mimi, de little girl courier with a note in her paw. She said,
"SaraFerret, I noticed your door was open, so I just came right in. I
hope that it was okay. The Boss has a message that Ms. Cynde forgot to
mention Frazzle when she sent the previous message for you to check on
her ferrets. Have you got that all straight? Do you want me to go with
you?"
"Oh no, Mimi," I replied. "It was such a short time ago, dat I remember
just where it was at. Are you all ready for de big day?"
"Oh yes, SaraFerret. All the couriers are so excited. We will get to
meet the angels and the archangels again. What a big day that will be.
Maybe we will even get to see the Boss. Anyway, see you at the party."
I decided to take de kits, Serena and Isabel, with me as well as some
of the nicest crocheted toys. All of us fuzzies enjoy these toys. So I
called them from their play and they got really excited as they seldom
went with me on my trips. We went down de road, across de strawberry
patch, through de everlasting gold flowers and we reached Stonebeary
Mound. I knocked on de door. Clyde opened de door and said,
"Hi SaraFerret, how nice to see you again. Bonnie is making her great
soup today. Betcha came to eat with us. Oh you brought your friends.
How nice. Hey Bonnie, we have company."
Bonnie came running out and said, "Oh my, I will have to get out more
bowls for you and oh how cute the kits are and so well behaved and what
are their names?"
"Bonnie," I said. "We can eat the soup later if you don't mind. I came
with a note from de Boss. Is Frazzle around?"
Frazzle, at hearing her name came bouncing from de kitchen. "Yeah, I
is Frazzle-Dazzle. Whatcha need?"
"Well, Frazzle, your Mommy Cynde forgot to mention to us to check on
you when she sent the other note so I am here to see how you are doing.
Altho I can see you are just doing great."
Frazzle replied, "Yeah, I kinda thought Mommy was just absent-minded
what with the holidays and all. I was always a brat. I really ran her
raggedy when I was with her. She loved me anyway. Thats why she always
called me Frazzle-Dazzle. She said I sparkled.
She was a great Mommy. So what do we do now."
"Okay," I replied. "We has to send a message to your Mommy. So just
come with me."
So Bonnie turned off de fire under de soup. And we all left dere and
went through de sweet williams down another path to de Misting Pond and
sat down beside de cool clear water. With one swish she saw a vision of
Mommy Cynde appear. She got so excited dat she started waving and
dooking with all of her might.
"I love you Mommy. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for rescuing me.
I know that I just drove you wild with my ways, but you were always so
good to me. I have wings now and I can fly. Oh and Bonnie makes the
best soup ever. We can run and play and we can play hide- and-seek
and we don't have to worry about a sheriff coming to get us for being
illegal. Isn't that great? I knew you wouldn't forget me?"
Then she began to throw hugs and kisses and one dazzle and wrapped dem
with all of her love and laid dem on a nearby shooting star which was
headed to your house and by de time you should read dis it should have
landed dere. And with another swish de vision was gone.
We left dere and went back down de road to dere house. I decided to
stay and have Bonnie's soup. Oh yes, I introduced de kits. No dey were
not actually my birth kits, just mine by adoption, I explained to all.
Dey seemed to understand dat. Frazzle and I chattered away about our
escapades on earth and I handed out de crocheted toys. Early holiday
gifts even tho de Big Day had not yet arrived. Gifts are always nice
anytime. It was so nice to visit. I so seldom had time to do dat.
Serena and Isabel and I headed for home. We all had full tummies. I
had to laugh as I remembered talking with Frazzle about our earth
mischievous ways.
Lovey and hugs,
SaraFerret, bridgegreeter
