I think what the OP meant was that she uses zantac or pepcid in place
of Carafate. However, what I didn't catch on the first time I read her
post was that Kris said it was okay to use the Carafate at the same
time as the amoxi/antibiotics. As far as I knew, the Carafate had to
be given a certain amount of time before antibiotics, in order to not
block the absorption - can anyone clarify? I know this is heading into
the FML realm. I had a few emails sent to me in the past by owners who
stated to give half an hour before meds or food, so that's what I am
going by.
