Hey FMLers
As I sit in waterlogged South Dakota (that means lots of mud) I'd like
to update you on black-footed ferret news and happenings:

1. The latest installment of my BFF blog is up on Ferrets Magazine.
Yes, that's right, I'm back and I'm blogging. If you go read my blog
and leave some comments I JUST MIGHT keep on blogging (and on time
too!). I'd love to hear some feedback and questions or feel free to
leave future blog ideas in your comments! Go to:
<http://www.smallanimalchannel.com/critter-blog/ferret-field-blog/livieri-default.aspx>

2. Check your local PBS listings for Nature: The Loneliest Animals
premiering on Sunday, April 19th at 8pm. It features several endangered
species, including black-footed ferrets and my good friend Paul
Marinari (you might remember from Forum at the Fort). See a preview at:
<http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/the-loneliest-animals/introduction/4898/>

3. Breeding season for black-footed ferrets is in full swing (Peanut is
very popular with the ladies these days) at the National Black-Footed
Ferret Conservation Center. BFF counts from Arizona are in and plans
for the Canadian BFF release are progressing! As usual, Ferrets
Magazine is right on top of all the latest BFF news:

4. For you social media savvy folks, Prairie Wildlife Research is on
Facebook and Twitter. Be a fan and follow us today!

Thank you for your time and support!
Cheers,
