The dear liers brought up something that was in our local paper, front
page a few weeks back. It put me in tears and made me angry. it was
an article about people turning in animals they had for years because
they can't aford them because of the economy! thats bs you know, why
it pissed me off so much is some not all people , will go out an by
expensive X boxes, video games, phones etc. Have 2 or 3 cars, driving
only one, buy expensive clothing they really don't need. you know
stupid stuff. All that stuff could be the money for taking care of
the animal. Some seem to think that the ferret, dog cat etc will get
another home, they don't realize, that like here, most of the animals
here if not adopted will be killed. Is that fair?

What about compromise, give up some things you really don't need!
Animals are like skin children, there lifetime commitments, they have
feelings too. What really makes me extra mad is a article out in
California in there paper posted that the homeless peoples pets out
there are well taken care of. How can this be, homeless people don't
have alot of money, but it seems they would rather die then give up
there animals. Me myself and alot of my friends live on fixed incomes,
me myself the thought of giving up one of my babies , makes me sick,
would I do it no way! It just makes me sick how people can't learn to
compromise to keep there animals and give them up without a thought.
Sorry this was so long but I had to get it out. ...

ps I am thankful for all the non kill shelters and shelter people that
take these babies in. We need all shelters to be no kill!
