Hi, saw the post on emu oil, why not use coconut oil? Internally and
externaly its as healthy if not more so than olive oil... I give peanut
a little everyday and rub it on his fur. He loves coconut oil, almost,
but not quite as much as his raw milk....yes he digests the raw milk
fine, but would not give him store bought regular milk. He also enjoys
home made raw milk kefir, almost daily. Sooooo funny, watching him with
the kefir, because its some what sour, he takes a lick, looks at me,
shakes his little head, because of the sourness, stares at me, while he
recovers, then goes on to take more, and repeats this whole process. So
funny! I actually drive an hour to and from the farm just to get his
raw milk, but so worth it! Please don't bash me on the whole raw milk
thing, as i'm studying to get my nutrition degree, and have studyed
raw milk for 2yrs now. Then did my research on a trustworthy farm. I'm
trying to build his immune system, as in my eighteen yrs of owning
ferrets, and at some point, they all had life threatning reactions to
the vaccines in the past, even with all the precautions, benadryl,
ect., so i'm not vaccinating peanut against anything. I don't want to
hear bashing on this either, as i'm a very smart women, and have seen
what all the vaccines do to our animals and children, its big pharma
and there way to get us and keep us sick!! This ferret is indoor, and
has contact with myself... I even remove my shoes when i get home,
and am aware of all the risks... I know shelter people have to do
the vaccines for legal issues, and i respect every ones decission on
whether they do or don't vaccinate. To me, its simply not an option, as
i see it cost ferrets their lives, and lower their immune systems and
if i could have done things different in the past, i would have not
vaccinated... This ferret eats better than i do and hopefully will be
free of the so many diseases that ferrets get. I think there is more
to all the ferrets health issues than early nutering, and breeding.
I think one of the contributing factors for all their problems is
vaccines....in this world, its all about how the fda, pharma, and how
they can make the all mighty dollar, while making us, and our animals
sick, then keeping us that way!!!!! Deb
