We have the exact opposite of Serena the ferruppy. Our ferret, Popcorn,
is convinced that's he is a puppy! We have no idea where he got that
idea since we don't even own a dog. But, believe you me, Popcorn is a
classic case of puppy-ferret. He will sit at the divider we have up
between our living room and kitchen (none of our kids are allowed in
the kitchen) and wait for us patiently just like a puppy would. He will
"heel" amazingly well - without our having even taught him how. He also
loves to eat anything we have - he has the palate of a dog, too.

Popcorn has a brother, Conrad, and a sister, Banana. They act like
normal ferrets and play with each other & dook at each other. Popcorn
turns up his nose at this - especially with Conrad. Now, Popcorn will
dook and play like a ferret, too, but he is much more a puppy in his
playing, too.

Popcorn & Serena should get together for a play date some time - that
would be interesting!
