Eri, I used to test my ferrets frequently. In order to keep them still,
I would scruff them in my teeth. Do what you did (excellent directions
are on the TriFL - www.trifl.org - site thanks to Pam Sessoms) is
right. But, if you scruff them in your teeth, they will be limp. THen
you can get the bottom of the toe and fet your sample. Oh, I have found
that the less I "try" to touch it, just letting it barely hit the edge
of the strip, the more likely it is to talk right away.
