Proglycem and it's generic diazoxide can sometimes be very hard to find or order. That is also true for human patients. it is not always readily available. I even know one family which moved to a different state where there are more compounding pharmacies because of their young human daughter's need for a constant supply since steroids do not work for her congenital hypogylcemia.
