Hi all! I have GOOD news for once! My vet has finally been approved to
use the experimental (experimental in the US anyways) - implant for
adrenal gland disease. Many of you know me, and my "MoJoMan" story...
we tried using melatonin - no good, we tried Lupron - and he grew
fur back from his shoulders UPWARD - but is still naked below the
shoulders. This implant is supposed to do better than melatonin and
Lupron - and is supposed to last close to one year. He is getting it
from Australia - and the cost is even cheaper than lupron too! Can't
think of the name of it - but MoJo will be the first one to have this
done, by my vet. I guess we can call it "experimental" at this time -
but hey - if the tonin and lupron aren't working - couldn't hurt to try
this one eh? I will be doing a 'documentary" of how this work, and will
include pic's, etc - to let people know how this works. Everyone cross
your fingers for the MoJoMan!
