Since we don't want any one else to fall over dead at their computers
due to the on going food debate (again) including myself, here is a
new topic for everyone. O.K...got that Alex...Alex...someone get the
paddles, stat. We can't have you dying yet, although the funeral plans
have been fantastic so far. lol Hmmm...maybe you can use some of them
and start planning ahead.
Instead of what tricks have you taught your ferrets...What tricks have
your ferrets trained you to do or how do they get you to do something
for them?
Mischief has my husband wrapped around her paw. When she wants a treat,
she walks up to him and pats his knee with her paw. At that point my
husband will automatically hand her a treat (think zombie here!). If
he's really into the program he's watching he might not notice the
first pat or even the second. After that it's impossible to ignore her.
She pulls out the old the old climbing spikes and up his leg she goes
and sits on his lap staring up at him. Treats comes swiftly after that.
She has beautiful delicate curved needle claws and she knows how to use
them. She'd make any logger proud, with her climbing abilities.
There are other examples at our house, many others, but this should
get us started. I know I'm not alone in this. So lets hear them.
Hugs and Dooks,
Cindy and the gang at
Hiland Ferrets
