It is often difficult to tell if you have a cold or the flu because
the because symptoms are similar.

Is it so bad to tell people that ferrets can get human colds? I think
it's best if a person is ill no mater what the illness the try and
avoid handling ferrets until they are well. Its the only way to be
sure not to pass an illness to a ferret.

Why split hairs over what illness it really is? If you're sick stay
away from the fuzzies until you are well.
