Been awhile since I updated on the three gorgeous kids I adopted from
Millie at Ferret lovers Rescue of Texas. I have to say, they are just
wonderful ferrets!. I was reminded after reading Troy Lynn's post of
names etc so I just wanted to share about mine again.

Big and handsome Reed is topping five pounds and is the sweetest old
man you'll ever get to meet.

Ruckus, well he lives up to his name! Ever the player and dancer he's
just wild. The only reminent of being a breeder is that if startled
he'll whip around like he's gonna bite but then realizes it's momma
and stops himself

also a big boy at almost 4.5 lbs. Raquel (aka: Kelly) is a petite
little black roan mitt that is simply beautiful. She loves her momma,
begging to be held all the time. She's a screamer, that's for sure.
Not quite sure what "playing" means, still when the other ferrets try
she screams but there she is still in the thick of things romping and
rolling with the best of them. Aim wondering if that little stripe on
her black head tells me she's really a little deaf if not selective
hearing.

I took them back to see Millie a few weeks ago so she could see their
progress. Needless to say, I think she was impressed. The kids are
awesome (the boy size still makes them appear whole) sweet and they
are so appreciative of their new lives. Never the biters, ever. They
just amaze me.

So thanks again Millie. I can't imagine not having these wonderful
guys in my life. They sure have made my life so much fun. I just love
knowing they're happy. The rescue will be coming up on it's one year
anniversary in 2009. Hopefully some of us that have them will get
together and share stories.

Leanne and crew
