Personally I wouldn't use any method of nip training that could be
interpreted by a frightened ferret as aggressive. That includes biting,
smacking or scruffing. A fir NO is enough to make them realise that you
don't like what they are doing and gentle handling, hand feeding and a
alm manner will help them to realise that they don't need to be afraid
of you. If biting is persistent then 5 minutes time out in a cat
carrier where they can see you but are ignored can help.
So no I wouldn't use biting.
