Subject:
Neutered Ferret acting like he's not neutered

The vet said he didn't think that this ferret had an incomplete
neutering. He thinks he is adrenal, but since he is essentially healthy
he wouldn't recommend surgery at this point. He's only exhibited this
behavior twice and that was last week.

What kind of damage does adrenal disease cause a ferret? Is there any
benefit to early treatment or is it better to wait until more signs
develop or reoccur/

He was in rut when he was neutered and that was about 8 month ago.
Could this be related to him being in rut when fixed, even though he
has not exhibited this behavior until last week?

Thank you

Mike
