Bought a 10# bag of Pinto beans for my own consumption, but thought
the evil kreetchurs might like to dig.
Boy, did they ever! Didn't have a box handy, but a big mixing bowl
worked just as well.
Best thing is, easier to clean up than rice, and a rinse is all they
need before me and my pressure cooker can enjoy them too.
Also, thanks again to BobC: "He will have nesting boxes so he can
hide or sleep with security."
I need to make some more of those and branch them off the 30' of
dryer tubing running around my living-room.
My ferts seems happier when they have their own separate
hidey-holes/nesting boxes and/or territory to protect. When they
feel secure that way for sleeping, they're more likely to play with
each other when they wake up, despite longstanding friction between
a couple of them.
