Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while but had to post this-- I actually saw a
ferret, a cute little sable, in a commercial for a mainstream product,
portrayed positively as a much-loved pet along with a dog and cat. It's
a commercial for fabric softener (Bounce, possibly?) that's supposed to
repel pet hair, the basic message being "get close to your pets without
worrying about the hair" The animals are singing and pointing to the
fabric softener, and it ends with the woman cuddling the ferret and
giving him scritchies. Not much, I know, but it's so nice to see a
ferret in a positive light, cuddled and loving instead of wild and
biting like some other images I've seen. Just had to share, hope
everyone is doing well and good thoughts to those who aren't.
