I have ferrets that love to scatter the crumbs everywhere. However,
thanks to Brenda Johnson at Lakeroad Ferret Farm
(http://ferretfarm.org/), my problem is solved. For only $10, you, too,
can experience the clean cage bottom I have now. She has a little food
bag like you would put on a horse. It holds the food dish and when the
ferrets drop crumbs, it catches them! Wow! So simple and yet so
amazing. It works so well, I bought one for every cage. And, while it
may not hold water, it DOES keep it from wetting everything in the
cage! I love mine - and the ferrets actually use them.
