We had a member of Ferret Friends here in Tucson until a couple
years ago. She was a divorced woman with an autistic son living with
her. They had four make ferrets who were allowed in their apartment
building under Arizona law because they were the boy's service animals.
Unfortunately the woman died of heart problems, the son, then 20, went
to live with his father in another state, and Ferret Friends got the
four big boys. One has since gone on tho the Rainbow Bridge; the others
are in a great home with Mary Jo.

The son had made great progress in his life and at her funeral read a
great tribute to his mother and their three interests in life- ferrets,
the Beatles and Nascar racing!
