Try mixing a little bit of slippery elm bark powder into whatever kind
of soup or liquid food you may give her. You can also mix it in with
baby food (Gerbers Stage 2 chicken or turkey is best for them), add
some water, and heat it up. Slippery Elm Bark powder soothes and helps
relieve the digestive tract, and also helps solidify loose stools or
diarrhea. It is a regular ingredient in the soup that we feed our
four kids a few times a week. There are also no known side effects
or interaction problems caused by the slippery elm.
