LOL, Gordon, my son always said the main reason ferrets couldn't live
in the wild is that they'd go into sleeping not dead mode and a wild
animal would eat them before they had time to wake up. I've shed
numerous tears finding them limp and unresponsive. Now I just rub a
bit of ferretone on their lips before I panic. If that doesn't bring
them around then I get scared.
