I am in Chicago Illinois area. I could take two males that Carole was
caring for that get along with other ferrets to help out if anyone is
going to be taking them in this direction.

Also, I asked someone if he might accept mail to go to Carole. He is
her friend. She could use some hugs. I do not know if that is something
he would be able to do. It is possible that one of the reasons she did
not ask for help is that there has been so much to do for the DMK
ferrets. Who could have helped????

Many of us are an injury or illness or family emergency away from not
being able to be there as we should be for our babies. Volunteers move
or become ill themselves. Your child could be in a car accident. Your
spouse could lose his or her job. A sudden group of 8 ferret could put
you over the edge. But they are a bonded group of elderly ones that
poop all over everything and no one wants them.
Our best plans do not for see everything.

Prayers to all our shelter moms and dads out there for health and
strength, volunteers, donations, and encouragement.
