We have the Ferret Nation cages (double with single add-on). Here is
my reply:

I suggest a step stool in order to get in and clean the top level. If
you need to go through a standard doorway while it is assembled, this
might be an issue. You'd have to remove the top level (which isn't all
that hard, 4 screws I believe).

No problems for me as of yet.

No problems here even when they climb the side of the cage and get up
on top. Don't let your skin kids hang on it lol.

We hang the hammies and stuff from the ceiling and place the extra
'deck' piece near the hammie so they can get in and out.

All you need to assemble is a screwdriver if I remember correctly. If
you need to go through a doorway, it will be easier with the two-level
unit. PRICE SHOP BEFORE BUYING. I found this unit a lot cheaper @
Ferret.com plus they only have $6.99 on shipping. If you shop eBay you
will find many wonderful items made specifically to fit this cage.
