I am posting this email not as a F.E.R.R.E.T Board Member but just as
my own viewpoint.

As I read all the wonderful posts on the FML and have done so for so
many years, it can't help but surprise me that many of those that post
on this site have not taken a few minutes to complete the form on the
web site for a reference as needed and is so very important for the
Ferret Community.

You people are the best ever and we truly need you to complete the
form on the web site. Just being able to know the coverage that each
state has will help not only with Hanna, Ike or whatever comes along.

Communication is very important to have in each state.

I am sure by now you are sick of my posting the importance of this web
site and the form that needs to be completed - but you are the people
that make up a large part of the Ferret Community and you are the
people that we need to know that you are there for the ferrets that
may need your help.

Don't let this become a personal thing among one another as it
sometimes does - just put that aside and join forces for the ferrets.
We all work so hard to comunicate and assist one another -- so why not
all join together and make it possible to assist people and ferrets in
need now and in the future.

If you are on other groups and organizations, that is wonderful but it
would be helpful to allow all of us to know your status. Others may
know what your assistance and availability is but this same information
is not available on the National Ferret Rescue site.

There is a map on this site that you may click on and see the people
that have agreed to post their name or organization that can be of some
help if needed. Your personal information is not placed on this other
than what you agree you would want posted.

Again, I am not posting this for F.E.R.R.E.T. so please just allow me
to exercise my feelings and thoughts on this. Won't you please take
the time to complete the form on the web site.

Not only do we need YOU to complete this form but we need you to tell
others of the site and ask that they do the same.
