I'm just now getting caught up on reading other posts from the digest,
as since Scooters passing last saturday, I haven't felt up to it... I
came across your post suki, and it upset me enough to want to respond
right now, as I hadent seen it yet, while it wasn't directed to me,
exactly, I felt it was.

First of all we all have our problems, and vets are no exception, I
get this, but when and if your own health problems, personal problems
whatever, are getting in the way of your profession, do what you did,
you posted about your health and removed yourslf,with an explanation of
why... that's great, I respect that... If your a dr, a vet, or someone
in a seriouse profession, and your having some kind of lifetime
crisis,that's going to interfear with the health, and life of others,
REMOVE YOURSLF, FROM YOUR PROFESSION , OR PASS THE BUCK SO TO SPEAK,
TO ANOTHER DR. OR VET, UNTIL YOUR THROUGH WHATEVER IT IS, YOUR IN,
THEN RESUME YOUR USUAL PROFESSION.... You simply do not stop responding
to your patients or clients, with no explanation, do you? Would you do
this Suki? I know speaking for myslf, I would do the right thing with
the animals,patients whatever, and suffer financially, and find a
way, untill I could resume my work, not risk someone, or somethings
life!!!!!!!!! Is it all about the money,in this world? Very sad, as
far as I'm concerned.....

I'm really upset at this post, as I'm human enough to know everybody
at some point needs a break, but for Gods sake, do this the right way,
and if you don't, as in my case with Scooter, you shouldn't be a vet
to begin with!!!!! Do the world a favor and get the hell out, before
you cause more pain and suffering,with another.... I know better than
anyone about health problems, and having to leave my work and end up
here today on disability, as I have 3 autoimmune diseases, am losing
my vision, have cervical cancer, currently in remission, and on and on.
So please don't justify some ones actions, that you have no idea the
extent of..........
