So today I clean & moved out to storage the last ferret cage here at
the shelter! (actually we moved the last 15 ferrets back into the
house as 15 was easy to have space for - we do have a very nice newer
34X36 house that was just for the ferrets fully heated complete with
satellite when we bought our final and perfect place for the rescue
3yrs ago and it is now just empty and only heated at 40 to keep the
pipes from freezing) We adopted our last family of 4 ferrets out... I
have NO RESCUES after 17 yrs of rescuing ferrets! The numbers for us
have been declining a bit for around 4yrs but wow none here at the
shelter we only have 14 in foster that are adrenal and getting regular
lupron & Melatonin inj.

I just had to share.. I hope everyone else is having as good a year!

We also have a great 3-4 feet of snow! Which I am just loving
