I thought I had dealt with almost everything....I have a 3 YO, '
suspected' Path Valley female, a rescue. Normally a bitch on wheels
who has in the past month become quite docile, lost quite a bit of
body volume, (99% fat ) and begun drinking enormous amounts of water;
2 OZ just tonight in less than 30 minutes. Fasting blood sugar 87.
Happy, active ferret, UTD on rabies, titer done for distemper 7 months
ago, no exposure to outside animals. Fed 8 in 1: 45% kibble and whole
roaster chicken (chicken, 2 pints gizzards, 2 pints hearts/livers with
bones, fat and skin ground up) cooked soup twice a day.
Normally healthy, active now sluggish and excessively thirsty rather
than hungry. Shows more interest in kibble than soup. No hair loss at
all.
What am I doing wrong??
HELP!!
Leslie
