The last time I did it I didn't have an easy place to sit down, so I
scruffed each ferret, holding it up in the air w my left (non-dominant)
hand, and clipped with my right, using a human nail clipper. I was
surprised how easy it was.

They didn't seem to think it was cruel and unusual punishment. What do
you think?
