People are very touchy about their pets, and often to the point of
denial. Frankly from what I've been reading, the poor kid sounds
bi-polar.

Is there any way to obtain Veterinary records of these kids, to
determine just how well cared for they've been? With some documentation
as to their condition and care to go with, perhaps if the need should
arise she could be relieved of her fuzzy charges.
